Overview
Our client is a management consultancy that supports customers across diverse market sectors. The company whose head office is based in central Manchester has a truly global footprint and has subsidiaries in 12 countries. The company continues to grow and diversify both its service propositions and market specific products. As it undergoes the next stage of its exciting growth plans the senior leadership team has created the Marketing Director role to expedite its strategic plan. Reporting directly to the group board the role will be challenging, varied and will include: Leading, mentoring and coaching the Manchester group marketing team and the remote management of the 'in country' commercial teams. Operating alongside the board in developing the strategic vision for the company, looking at new market opportunities and customer centric service lines. Developing and defining a brand proposition that befits the company's global footprint. Effectively executing a 'go to market strategy' for all new propositions. Working closely with the sales teams to ensure that the ROI on all campaigns are effectively measured. Helping to identify and drive the profitable growth of its key customer contracts. The successful candidate could be operating at either a 'Head of' level and capable of stepping up or will be a Director already. Equally the candidate could be a marketing, business development or sales & marketing professional who has worked in highly commercial, P&L focused environments. Candidates that have operated in businesses with global Enterprise customers would be preferable but not essential. Of more importance will be individuals drive and commerciality and their desire to work in a fast paced environment that is undergoing rapid transformation.
