Overview
Role: Senior Business Development Executive Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum plus commission scheme Location: Sheffield Our client are an award winning team of creatives with a strong ethical focus. The role: As a member of the Business Development team this individual will actively contribute towards achieving the company’s new business targets through (1) proactively generating new business leads and (2) supporting tender responses. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Generation Produce target lists of potential new clients based on matching the agency’s skill set with established client needs Approach potential new clients through email, telephone, LinkedIn etc. to secure an agreed number of meetings with qualified leads Take briefs from potential clients Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential new clients as required Support the business development team towards converting active leads into live work Research and identify new business development opportunities Work with the business development manager to identify and manage risks Represent the agency professionally at all times Preparing Tenders Research tender portals to identify potential opportunities Work with the wider team to pull together tender responses and directly contribute content for bids Participate in creative planning sessions to develop bid responses Support the tracking and evaluation of all tenders Input data into BD tracking system and produce reports The successful candidate: You’ll have a proven track record of lead generation, new business development through a range of activities and promoting a product/service to a new customer base. Any experience of working in the creative/advertising industry would be advantageous, although specific industry experience isn't essential. You will ideally have experience of tenders/bids/proposals.
