Communications Executive £30,000 - £35,000 Huntingdon Permanent Your New Company A successful, growing property development company is on the lookout for an innovative Communicator to support 3 strategic developments including new homes, schools, and extensive transport and community structure around Huntingdon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are focused on making an impact on their local communities by creating sustainable homes. Your New Role Your role as the Communications Executive will include projects surrounding heritage, community, transport, ecology and climate change. It will involve arranging powerful written, audio and visual packages that reflect the strong partnerships across the design teams, local partners, communities and residents. The role will also involve co-ordinating effective delivery of media coverage with PR agency support, whilst also co-ordinating production of regular newsletters. You will be supporting the Communities Team with communications around consultation events and planning, as well as supporting ongoing engagement on social media and digital platforms - working with the marketing and web teams. Your new role will include building good links with partner communications teams and with local media outlets, whilst also working in partnership with your communications colleagues across the 4 other strategic sites in the Midlands and South East. What You'll Need to Succeed For this role you will be required to have experience within a similar position in communications and PR, alongside a strong social media experience and understanding of social and digital platforms. You will need excellent organisational and time management skills, and to be able to prioritise a busy workload and work without supervision. To be confident in this role, you will be required to have experience using MS Office, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work production. This role demands a professional, confident and proactive approach - being able to use your own initiative in a thoughtful and considered way. You will need to have the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team, with strong internal relations. The ability to meet conflicting priorities whilst working under pressure is essential for this role. What You'll Get in Return In return, the Communications Executive will receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
