Intranet Officer

Our client based in Stevenage is currently recuritng for a Intranet Officer on a minimum of a 3 month placement. Job role To support the delivery of the corporate communications, engagement and marketing strategies and, in doing so, to contribute to the management and enhancement of the council’s reputation amongst its staff. To act as a business partner through proactively managing a portfolio of internal clients and projects to support internal communications / marketing campaigns and strategies that align with service and organisational objectives. To provide proactive, professional guidance and support comms and marketing peers and service managers. Develop the back end of the intranet which is provided by supplier Invotra. Maintain the intranet with relevant policies access for starters and removals of leavers, team structures and correct job titles. Develop and build a new feature for employees called My Workspace, a personalised view of the intranet. Developing and executing intranet marketing and communications campaigns and stories. Strategise and execute employee focused campaigns to increase engagement and influence stakeholders Acting as a business partner and the key communications contact for specified service and project managers (eg IT, HR, Finance). Identifying creative ways of ensuring all internal stakeholders are up-to-date with the latest relevant council information. Working with internal teams to identify business and service challenges and resolve these by creating engaging communications and content. Providing reports, analysis and evaluation of communications campaigns and activity for specified internal clients. Maintaining and updating information about services, events and initiatives for publication on the intranet. Keeping up to date with the client agenda and all legislation relating to publicity and communications.
