Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager on behalf of our client in Frome, Somerset. Our client are an independent B2B marketing agency, bringing an imaginative and collaborative approach to client work for the past 20 years. Job Title: Account Manager Contract: Permanent Location: Frome, Somerset. Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 Our Client are looking for people who have a strong marketing background and experience of working with large clients to develop and implement innovative marketing tactics that address business issues. You will understand the customer buyer journey and the importance of content in driving meaningful engagement. The role also requires strong data analysis and data interpretation skills in order to best advise clients on their future marketing strategies. You will be responsible for planning, executing and managing marketing campaigns and projects as well as maintaining and developing strong client relationships, advising them strategically. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong background in marketing/project management with previous experience of looking after multi-faceted projects from concept to execution. Key Responsibilities: - Project Management responsibilities - Owning client relationships (where appropriate) to provide the best service possible to our customers to gain trust and develop a continuous business relationship - Taking personal responsibility for understanding a confirmed brief passed to you from the sales via the Senior Operation Managers, to ensure scope of work is clearly defined and there is no room for misinterpretation or misunderstanding prior to executing the work - Executing projects either personally or in conjunction with colleagues and other services such as Marketing, Creative or Events - Constant assessment and reassessment of project guidelines and the confidence to challenge and change project remit for better results - Tight financial management on all projects within budget guidelines - Responsibility for all live projects run by yourself with project and financial tracking and status updates available when required for CSDs and SOMs - Attending educational updates of company services and developing knowledge - Remaining flexible to work on multiple accounts and multiple projects Special Requirements: Essential Skills - Strong Marketing/Digital Marketing background and qualifications - Experience of managing projects from concept to execution - Very good planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail - Strong work ethic, commercially focused and data-driven - Ability to manage time and workloads and to work under pressure - Self-motivated with an ability to work within a wider team environment - Excellent IT skills, in particular, Excel and PowerPoint - Managing executive clients effectively and efficiently Desired Skills - Experience of working in an agency environment - B2B background - Proven experience of working with external suppliers - Familiarity with project management methods - Experience with Social Media/Paid Media/Analytics for business - Knowledge of the enterprise IT sector - EDM software experience (preferably Dotmailer) Benefits: As well as a competitive salary you will receive: - 22-days annual leave (increasing yearly to 30-days max) - Training & Development Opportunities - On-site Parking - Company Pension - Health Cash Plan - Salary Sacrifice for Childcare - Cycle to Work Schemes If you feel that the above describes you and your attributes then sent in your CV and one of our team will be in contact with you shortly.
