HEAD OF MARKETING - £45 K - £50K - Full Time - Permanent - Flexible Working - Pension - Private Healthcare - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Gym membership - Birthday Off - On site Parking. Client: Our client are a well established, successful and expanding consultancy. The Role: A fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, leading the development and delivery of their marketing strategy. As a member of their senior management team, you will propose a marketing and communications strategy to achieve business objectives and develop and implement an annual business plan to achieve key targets. Key responsibilities: Propose an integrated marketing and communications strategy that meets the needs of the whole business and its service lines Develop an annual business plan to deliver key targets in that strategy, aligned with the KPIs being pursued by each service line Deliver that annual plan, including managing the budget, and reporting on progress against key metrics Recruit, retain and manage a small internal and external team. This includes existing external PR and digital service providers and recruiting for an internal digital marketing/comms post. Be a member of the senior management team, participating fully in meetings and discussions about the business, ensuring marketing and communications is fully integrated across the business. Originate and maintain key stakeholder relationships to enable successful marketing and communications delivery, working with other senior members of the team as appropriate. Agree external communications plans with the PR agency and work closely with them to deliver meaningful impact within budget and closely aligned to target audiences. Originate and deliver marketing and thought leadership campaigns for the whole business and individual service lines. Develop and deliver strong digital marketing and communications presence. Identify, secure and execute marketing activities. Currently this includes at least one landmark annual event e.g. Game Fair, Farm Business Innovation Show, etc; and a small number of ad hoc events and partnerships Support our major emphasis on client relationship management, focussed on a small number of 'show and tell’ bespoke events, backed by wider networking activity. Analytics, data gathering and interpretation to report on key metrics for marketing and comms activities. Ensure the business is compliant with regulatory requirements and good practice on data protection, marketing and other activity, and has the right tools and support systems to deliver effectively in marketing and communications.
