Job Description We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Head of Social Media to join our Digital team here at Together. Reporting into the Head of Digital Strategy and working closely with the wider Digital and Marketing teams, you'll be responsible for defining and building both the short and long term Social Media strategy. You'll help to define the key outcomes for success along with the KPIs in order to demonstrate the commercial benefits of amazing, integrated social media campaigns. To be considered, you will have extensive experience in a similar role within a structured, corporate business. You will be both a strategic thinker and an excellent executor, with a deep understanding of social media, how it can integrated into a broader marketing mix and, importantly, how social media can generate a positive commercial return. In addition, you’ll be comfortable collaborating with the key business stakeholders to determine business priorities and, thereafter, communicate clear priorities to your team. Responsibilities Proactively identify new target audiences; new compelling content forms and new channel / platform opportunities with a view to maximising engagement with all target audiences; Collaborate with the other marketing teams, digital marketing, product team and key business stakeholders to design and deliver amazing, integrated social media campaigns; Manage and optimise multiple social media channels ensuring tone of voice and visual representations are consistent with our brand guidelines; Drive the measurement and evaluation of success across all social media campaigns including the sharing of information and recommendations for improvement with key business stakeholders; Ensure robust financial management controls are in place and that expenditure is in line with relevant budgets and forecasts; Ensure compliance to the requirements of internal governance and external regulations and legislation; Ensure that relevant social monitoring, social listening tools and other relevant research tools are deployed to optimise relevant and engaging content and facilitate competitor benchmarking; Monitor industry trends, platform trends and competitor activity across social media and leverage such insight to drive best practice within your social media team; Create an empowered, learning work environment in which colleagues feel able to: experiment; test; evaluate and learn. Inspire, motivate, mentor and develop your team’s capabilities. Qualifications Essential experience Deep understanding of social media, including paid social, across B2B and B2C audiences and how it adds value in a commercial environment; Extensive experience in the design, delivery, optimisation and measurement of innovative social media strategies; Previous experience of managing corporate LinkedIn; Twitter; Facebook and Instagram accounts; Strong technical knowledge of social media platforms; Strong analytical skills and financial management skills; Good grasp of how businesses work: commercial acumen and understanding how social media drives the business; Inquisitive nature and proactive mind-set combined with a strong can-do attitude to identify and exploit new opportunities.
