Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Andover. Our client has seen a strong growth rate over the last few years and as a result are looking to expand their team. As Senior Service Engineer you will be responsible for all equipment testing ensuring it functions as per company regulations. To achieve this, you need to possess a thorough understanding of manufacturing and product use, as well as of customer expectations. You will be covering the South Region however there may be national business requirements which will require traveling and overnight stays. Key responsibilities and duties of this role... * Attending site as principal engineer * Completing Controller/Panel Upgrades * Fault Finding on a large variety of engines, controllers and models of generators * Technical Support to Office Team, Workshop and Service Engineers * Support/Training of Service Engineers * Completing Site Surveys * Support to Small Works Project Manager * Managing and Completing works for Small Works Projects on Site * Compiling RAMS * Commissioning Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Strong practical electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution systems * Practical knowledge of high level software based control systems such as Comap/Deep Sea etc. * IT skills, fluent with Microsoft Office. * Practical experience of using laptop based bespoke engine system analysis and control programmes such as Comap PC Suite/DSE Configuration Suite etc * Experience in multi set and synch with mains controls * PLC programming skills * Full UK driving license (essential) * Good written and spoken communication skills (essential) * Gas Safe qualification (desirable) * Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification * CSCS Card * Basic Tools * Full drivers License Benefits * Salary between 30,000 - 35,000 per annum DOE * On call Allowance Payable * Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (flexibility required) * Overtime available (Overtime rates applicable) * Company Vehicle, fuel card, Laptop, Phone and uniform provided * 25 days annual leave, increasing through company loyalty programme * Overnight accommodation and food allowances payable (additional 'inconvenience' overnight personal allowance payable) * Death in service Loyalty Scheme * Pension Scheme
