Overview

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our successful client as a UK Sales Manager operating within the life science and scientific sector. Predominantly travelling within the UK and Europe with excellent training done at the head office in America - exciting opportunity for someone who likes to travel. Salary is £40'000 to £50'000 being based in Wrexham however there would of course be a lot of travel involved. B enefits include 22 days holiday, parking, pension scheme, health insurance, car allowance and insurance after successfully pass probation. ? Part of your role would be to:- - Attend conferences - Participate in relevant regulatory bodies conferences/meetings - Perform technical talks - Assist with workshops and perform Chemist portion of content - Be the expertise on Chemistry troubleshooting for workshops - Help to assess and understand changes in regulation and how that effects marketing strategies - Evaluate and suggest conferences, workshops or other forums in underrepresented markets (markets - soil, surface water, wastewater, etc) - Assist with incoming CPQ evaluation and initial phone calls - Customer visits to assess technical needs - Customer visits to maintain relationships and evaluate needs - Assist Technical support Chemists that should be directed to sales team or management for assessment - Ensure the brand and marketing image are cohesive and clear in public forums - Write technical responses or assist with technical responses for bids/tenders - Interface with distribution partners on technical sales questions and market needs ? What do I need? We are looking to speak to people a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or closely related degree (please include the grade you achieved), ideally with some experience in a laboratory environment in the workplace having worked into a more customer-facing role. Sales experience for a role like this is essential but someone who has sold bespoke solutions and services rather than products. We are looking for people who are passionate about their work, people who are self-motivated and able to travel for work. It is key that you are able to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organisation, for some of whom, English is their second language.
