Employer and Learner Engagement Officer

Employer and Learner Engagement Officer £26-28K Havant Our client who specialise in the training of apprentices is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and confident person responsible for engaging with employers to introduce the business, place suitable apprentices and offer other training opportunities. You will also be responsible for recruitment of learners by engaging with schools and referral agencies and attending events to raise the profile of the business. Key responsibilities will be… Identifying new business opportunities and the generation of new business. Achieve great sales and project a positive impression through telephone and face to face communication listening to customers' needs and using your initiative to spot opportunities to sell them the most appropriate products or services. Required skills & experience… You will have a good sales background and have a proactive approach Be able to provide a comprehensive account management function to gain future repeat business Ideally with some experience in the ICT and Business Services, Education or Recruitment sector Must be team players with a can-do attitude, be able to relate to, understand and interact with young people in order to engage with them to promote the benefits of undertaking an apprenticeship. Local travel is involved so a car is necessary for which an allowance will be paid This position is subject to DBS Checking Working hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Salary £26,000 - £28,000 experience depending Benefits including 32 days annual leave (includes 8 days Bank Holidays) Free on-site parking Pension Generous life assurance and discretionary sickness absence scheme Business mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
