Overview
Business Development Manager - Motor Finance and Insurance Covering: Kent Salary: £40-45k bonus benefits YOU Personnel Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a fantastic and supportive organisation. Duties include: Responsible for an annual retail turnover within territory (approx. 20 Dealers) and achieving targets and drive customer outcomes Influencing, persuading and motivating Dealers/ Group to support finance and insurance business Contacting Dealers face to face on site, via telephone, skype and e-mail Manage discretionary budget (regional allocation, requests to be authorised by the Head of Finance Operations for campaigns/incentives) Frequent communication with Head of Finance who assist in identifying priority areas/ tasks Drive and improve new car penetration (B2B, B2C), used car volumes, income, insurances, services, broker opportunities, dealer and customer loyalty Acting as the voice of the Customer, collecting and escalating across products (B2B, B2C, used vehicles, digital customer journeys) Develop and train Dealer staff including systems, controls, quality and compliance Previous Experience: Driving licence essential Educated to degree or Diploma/ BTEC level with Diploma in Asset Finance (FLA) or equivalent ideal 5 years’ experience in the motor finance industry IT/administration skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint at intermediate level Excellent presentation, selling, influencing and negotiations skills Ability to communicated at all levels and to coach and mentor Effective time management and utilising technology effectively to make time to sell and agree actions Analytical, numeric and a decision maker Detailed knowledge of dealership sales activity Knowledge and understanding of relevant FCA Insurance regulations required This is a field-based role that requires significant travel and flexible approach to working hours Business Development Manager/ Area Sales Manager/ Zone Area Manager/ Sales Manager/ Business Development Executive/ Kent YOU Personnel is an independent Recruitment Agency.
