Specification Sales Manager - Drainage Products Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - Civils & Drainage Industry Sector: Drainage Products, Drainage Channel Systems, Civil & Drainage, Access Covers, Slot Drainage, Surface Water Drainage, Water Drainage Systems, Below Ground Drainage, Rainwater Harvesting, Consulting Engineers, Civil Engineers, Architects, Groundwork Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Main Contractors, Civil Contractors, Stormwater Attenuation M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Specification Sales Area to be covered: London & South East (ideally 1hr from M25) Remuneration: £40,000 - £48,000neg (depending on exp) £10,000 - £15,000 bonus Benefits: £525 car allowance & full benefits package The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Civils & Drainage will involve: Specification field sales position, selling a high end manufactured range of drainage products such as: point drainage, slot drainage, drainage channel systems, steel façade drainage systems The majority of your time will be spent generating specifications via consulting engineers, civil engineers, public heath engineers, architects and M&E consultants The remaining portion of your time selling to civil contractors, main contractors, groundwork contractors and D&B Contractors Working on projects including: airports, retail parks, car parks, rail, highways etc. Will be given a current specification project bank Will be targeted on KPI’s not revenue Once up and running will look to bring in £1m turnover Working on projects from £2k to £1.5m, with an average of £30k-£400k depending on project sizes Will be required to conduct CPD seminars Will be working with a dedicated commercial area sales manager being brought on later in the year The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Civils & Drainage with: Must have a proven technical field sales track record selling to consulting engineers, civil engineers, architects and M&E consultants Must have sold a civil or ground engineering related product such as drainage systems, slot drainage, surface drainage, point drainage, slot drainage, rainwater harvesting, stormwater attenuation, access covers, concrete channels etc Would consider other product backgrounds if they’ve sold to architects and public heath engineers Must be technically minded, understanding of civil engineering and building industry routines Must be able to read engineering drawing and to communicate technical information Ideally have sold to civil contractors, main contractors, groundwork contractors and D&B Contractors Excellent field sales / territory management Ability to manage territory like its your own business Contacts within contractors / civil background preferred Organised, ability to follow projects through to completion Hungry, dynamic and driven Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Drainage Products, Drainage Channel Systems, Civil & Drainage, Access Covers, Slot Drainage, Surface Water Drainage, Water Drainage Systems, Below Ground Drainage, Rainwater Harvesting, Consulting Engineers, Civil Engineers, Architects, Groundwork Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Main Contractors, Civil Contractors, Stormwater Attenuation M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Specification Sales
