Overview

A national electrical business is looking for a proactive Area Sales Manager to represent the company through business development and existing account management across London, Kent and the South Coast. The company you'll be joining is part of an impressive c. £920 million turnover UK group and prides itself as being amongst the UK's leading suppliers of electrical test equipment and associated services. They provide a comprehensive range of quality products from leading brands with a product range including thermal imaging cameras, portable appliance testing, high voltage and environmental test equipment. Operating over three locations across the UK: London, Birmingham and Norwich, they also offer calibration/ repair services and key equipment training courses. Role Responsibilities: As an Area Sales Manager, you will build strong relationships with B2B customers including utility companies, facilities maintenance companies, electrical wholesalers, contractors and servicing companies. Managing your own customer accounts in an area covering London mainly plus Kent and the South Coast, you will play a key role within the business. As an integral part of a company known for quality service and products, you will present, communicate and negotiate with a wide range of customers, advise clients on the best solutions available to meet their requirements whilst meeting sales targets and increasing the profitability of the business.
