Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to be an integral part of this multi award winning Company based in Sidcup, on a permanent basis. Working within the sales department you will be responsible for: - Winning and securing new business. - Develop effective growth strategies that apply to both financial and customer success. - Research the market to identify buying/selling trends. - Develop relationships with industry professionals, existing partners, competitors, vendors and other personnel. - Write pre-sales proposals and produce new prospect reports. - Attend events, conferences and seminars to seek new opportunities. - Negotiate with clients to solidify the terms of each contract, ensuring contracts adhere to current regulations and guidelines. - Contribute to the reputation of the business by entering and achieving professional awards. - Provide a value added service, ensuring the highest standards at all times. - Fully immerse themselves into the business, attending weekly sales team meetings. As the Business Development Manager you will have: - Proven experience of working for an IT Managed Services provider - A strong desire and focus on continued improvement and personal development. - A strong proven track record of sales. - Be a strong communicator with advanced interpersonal skills. - Strong customer focus with the ability to build understanding and trust. - Strong influencing skills with strategic agility. - High competence with Microsoft Office and CRM software. A full UK driving licence is essential as, due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel to meetings. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:30 pm.
