Lecturer in Plumbing

The School of Construction and Engineering is looking for a Plumbing Lecturer who can impart their essential skills to our students both in the workshop and classroom. We are looking for someone with excellent practical vocational skills, backed up by the required theoretical knowledge to teach to Level 3. You must be passionate about the trade, and able to prepare our students for the world of work. Alongside this you will need to keep detailed records and track outcomes, using the appropriate college systems. This position would be suitable for someone with a flair for passing on their knowledge to others, and the enthusiasm to support our learners through their qualifications. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. If you have teaching experience, great, but if you are willing to complete teacher training and are already an experienced plumber we would love to hear from you too. This is a full-time post based at Barnfield College, Enterprise Way Campus. The closing date for applications is on Monday 27 April 2020.
