Overview
Trade Counter Sales Coordinator Birmingham, West Midlands This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest one-stop shop for the jewellery maker. Cooksongold is a leading global supplier of precious metals in gold, silver, platinum and palladium alloys. As a Sales Coordinator in the industry, you will provide support and assistance to the trade counter team responsible for serving customers in the jewellery and precious metal market. Working in a team of 10, you will learn about jewellery manufacturing products, test your ability to handle pressure in peak periods and build great customer relationships. In return, we will provide you with on the job training, guidance and the support you need to build on your existing expertise. Your duties will include: - Assisting with product sales and/or queries including jewellery and precious metals - Serving customers over the counter quickly and efficiently - Offering support and guidance on products to all customers - Resolving queries in a timely manner - General office administration including filing and invoicing - Replenishing the shop floor, putting goods away and keeping the whole branch tidy - Complying with regulations and company procedures The successful candidate will have: - Knowledge and experience within the jewellery industry / precious metal products - Previous customer service experience - GCSEs in Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent) - Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner - Confident and professional communicator - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Effective team working skills - Ability to use initiative for independent work - Ability to prioritise and schedule work to meet demands set by the department, company or external customer Hours of work: Total 37.5 hours per week, working a pattern of Monday to Thursday 0830 - 1645 and Friday 0930-1630 with a 30-minute lunch break each day.
