Gap professional are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client, who are looking for a Key Account Manager Job Type: Permanent Location: Stoke-on-Trent Hours of work: Monday - Friday 40 hours Salary: £40,000 - £55,000pa Summary: Explore, develop the customer base and promote the companies portfolio of products and services In liaison with the Tendering Department ensure that all quotations presented to customers meet their requirements as closely as possible Develop, present and implement an annual sales plan for the assigned geographic area Key Responsibilities: Sell the Products and Services of the Group Explore, develop and qualify the key accounts and channels to promote portfolio of products and services Liaise with the UK Sales Manager in identifying potential UK markets for Tech products, mapping supply chains and identifying both potential Key Accounts and indirect channels Ensure approved supplier with identified key accounts and identified channel partner accounts Liaise with counter parts in the French market to learn from best practice in terms of their approach to market Ensure when assembling packaged solution offers we maximise the pull through of Technically and Electrically products and services In liaison with the Tendering Department ensure that all quotations presented to customers meet their requirements as closely as possible Sales Management Update and maintain the customer database Ensure quotations are in line with client expectations and within the company's portfolio of products and or services Establish an annual Sales plan for the geographical sales area Oversee the sales process from prospecting, RFQ through to final negotiation & PO and handover to project/contract management team Maintain a sales pipeline process ensuring a methodical approach to finding and capitalising a flow of business opportunities required to achieve the company objectives Commercial Follow up Ensure each quotation is followed up in line with company procedure, listen carefully to customer feedback and maximise opportunity for turning into a PO In liaison with the Tendering Department manage the risk in respect T&C's, commercial and legal considerations. Ensure company procedure is adhered to Support payment of outstanding customer invoices when necessary Follow up Activity Sales report (monthly, quarterly; yearly) including Sales forecast Analyse company KPI's and take necessary actions to improve performance when required Contribute market intelligence, regarding customer and competitor feedback Communicate clearly the details gained from customer meetings to colleagues ensuring the company get the best value from issues discussed Continually keep abreast of market developments ensuring clear communication, to offer the best technical and commercial solutions Requirements: Bachelor degree with electrical specialisation, or electrical engineer with experience of international sales during 5 years or in an equivalent position in the industry Covering M62 and above M4 MUST have knowledge of electrical networks and switchgear Managing 40/50 accounts already on board Knowledge of the oil/gas industry Advantageous to have selling experience into switchgear/transformer/drives Benefits: Bonus 25 days holiday Statutory Laptop / Phone allowance Pension Closing date is 4th April 2020 To Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV to.
