Overview

Do you have experience of working in a health care, education, social care or voluntary sector setting and are looking for your next challenge? Our client, is a voluntary organisation, registered charity and network partner of the Carers Trust, supporting informal carers countywide. They are looking to appoint Regulated Care: Support Workers. Both positions are full time, 37 hours per week, these are salaried roles as opposed to zero-hour contracts. We have a daytime role available, where you will be providing regulated care to adults in their own home and acting as a step up from our befriending and volunteer sitting services. The salary for this is £18,181.80PA; £9.45 per hour. We also have a Overnight Care Service, where you will be supporting individuals in their own home on waking nights, typically 8pm-8am following a hospital discharge or to avoid admission. The salary for this position is £19,695PA; £10.10 per hour with a shift pattern of 3 nights on and 3 nights off. You need to have an understanding of the needs of those with care needs and their informal carers. A flexible and person-centred attitude is essential as is an ability to use your own initiative and communicate effectively. You will need access to a vehicle and a driving licence.
