Recruitment Consultancy is essentially a sales role; you are trying to sell your product, whether it be a candidate to a client, a vacancy to a candidate or your service. Recruitment is a busy, competitive role - you want to make sure that you are the go-to person in your field. It is a tough role at times, but a competitive and driven personality will get you to success, along with the following skills: Organisation and the ability to multitask Strong confident communication skills (both written and orally) Ability to establish relationships with people quickly Strong sales skills (ability to sell your company, yourself as an individual and the candidates you work with) Competitive nature Career driven if you possess the right qualities, attitude and work ethic, you will be trained and developed to succeed within a proactive, competitive and fun team environment.
