Through cross functional collaborations and interactions with other Agilent business units and customers, you'll have a direct influence in developing new products for the pharmaceutical market space to help deliver trusted answers to Agilent's customers. This position is critical to Agilent's mission to inspire and support discoveries that advance the quality of life. We provide life science, diagnostic and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications and expertise. The primary responsibilities for this role are to provide post-sales support and to develop the support strategy for new products. As part of the team you will: Use in-depth technical or scientific knowledge and product expertise to resolve product support escalations. Intertact with customers, provide deep support internally to Field Service Engineers, or customer call center personnel. Ensure the development and implementattion support plan, repair levels, and production support plans for new products. Provide technical product measurement consulting on presales opportunities. Interact with marketing, sales, technical support, QA, manufacturing, product development, as well as external customers to ensure that our products have the necessary features, cost parameters, supportability goals, reliability targets, and release schedules. Write product and/or process user documentation. Develop and deliver technical training to the Agilent technical support teams, such as field service and remote service engineers at a local, regional, and international scope. Determine and develops approaches to assignments. Lead technical marketing projects requiring coordination with other functions. Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following: University, Master Degree or equivalent with a focus in chemistry, analytical chemistry or other sciences fields preferred; may consider a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience. Relevant work experience in the area of pharmaceutical dissolution testing and/ or an equivalent combination of applicable education and work experience. Demonstrated experience working with dissolution testing, drug formulation and/or drug quality testing equipment and/or HPLC or spectroscopic technologies like UV/Vis spectroscopy and liquid chromatography in pharmaceutical laboratories. Working and communicating in a worldwide, matrixed, cross functional team environment which includes R&D, manufacturing, sales and quality teams as well as other business units. Analytical & strategic thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in particular to document and to deliver trainings. Ability to travel worldwide as required up to 10% of the time. Strong organizational skills demonstrating the ability to deliver to commitments. Agilent is an equal opportunity employer.
