The Day Job Sopra Steria are recruiting for a Director of Cloud Solutions and this role will be the primary business contact for our cloud services and capabilities within the UK. The Director of Cloud Solutions will be responsible for defining and maintaining a recognised cloud go-to-market strategy with strong adoption across the UK business units, promote key consulting 'door opening’ propositions and provide differentiating, yet credible, thought-leadership to drive digital engagements across our market facing sectors. Key responsibilities: Drive new conversations and engagements within our key accounts, using partnerships and IP to positively differentiate our cloud offerings. Planning, leading and successfully closing cloud-related engagements within key clients in close collaboration with the client and sales teams. Identification of high-margin consulting-led digital opportunities within existing accounts; opening new doors for our account teams. Alignment of our cloud capabilities to the unified sales strategy within the business, identifying areas of focus and ensuring we have the necessary delivery capability across the UK and India. Pro-actively lead on the demonstration of digital innovation that is highly-relevant to our clients’ business challenges. Demonstrate our hybrid cloud, application modernisation and cloud DevOps thought-leadership to key client stakeholder groups up to C level. Having a direct, measurable and recognisable impact on the digital cloud pipeline within our key accounts and sectors. Essential skills: Proven senior leadership, consulting and/or delivery experience in cloud-related roles; with engagements up to board level. Significant client facing experience with a proven track record as a leader who has shaped, developed and grown a cloud capability. Experience of cloud-related sales or pre-sales. In-depth cloud consulting skills and an up-to-date view of, and opinion on, the UK cloud market A track record of successful contribution to business cases and strategic development A strong and credible leader, communicator and influencer with a collaborative working style and excellent interpersonal skills Self-starting, working individually and as part of a team to deliver consultancy, maturity reviews and strategic insight into our clients Experience working at a senior management level in a complex matrix organisation providing strategic consultancy, advice and support Reasons why you should apply to us: We have an enviable client list - we work with some of the biggest names out there.
