Custodian - Tretower Castle and Court. Temporary, Welsh speaking roles for approx. 8 weeks , paying £11.02ph. Your new company You will be working within the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. Your new role You will be working as a Custodian on a part time, rota basis for approximately 8 weeks with potential extension. You will be required to greet and service visitors, take admissions and assist in the onsite shop selling souvenirs. Responsibilities will include cash handling and balancing a float, you will also be responsible for checking the site each morning to ensure it is ready to accept visitors. What you'll need to succeed Excellent customer service skills are required for this role as you will be dealing with customers at all times. Experience of operating a till and working within the retail sector is desirable. You must be a fluent Welsh speaker as this post requires you to communicate in the medium of Welsh. You must be flexible around working hours as you may be asked to work additional hours and will also be required to work some weekends or bank holidays.
