Medical Director
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. You will provide medical advice to the leadership team, the Managing Director and professional leadership to clinicians across the Care Group. In addition, you will play an active role in the development and delivery of clinical strategies and associated business plans. In addition you will work in the capacity of Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the company and will hold one or more significant portfolios across the company Trust and will be accountable to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). These may include Responsible Officer, appraisal and revalidation, Medical Education, Research and Development, Medical leadership Development and other areas by negotiation. The company are looking for an innovative senior medical leader who’ll bring their knowledge and experience and provide professional leadership of our medical workforce to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. As Medical Director you’ll be responsible for developing a culture of innovation and clinical excellence amongst medical colleagues and other professionals. You’ll strive to achieve the highest professional standards, working with medical colleagues to engage them effectively in delivering our strategic objectives. You’ll be a key player in developing our medical capacity and capability through effective workforce planning, creative use of skill mix, use of new roles and new ways of working, supporting education, training and development.
