My client is the world's leading provider of on-road load handling equipment, intelligent services and digitally connected solutions. Due to continued company growth we are now looking for an After Sales Operations Manager to manage and control the day- to-day running of the After Sales office. The main functions within After Sales are: • Customer support - parts identification, technical assistance/fault finding • 24/7 breakdown service through network of approved Service Agents • Proactive selling of Parts, Training, Fitting, Maintenance packages After Sales growth and development is a key focus for the business and the After Sales Operation Manager is a new important role to help facilitate this. This role will report to the After Sales Director and will be based in Oxford. Main tasks and responsibilities: • Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the After Sales office • Be directly involved with all the main functions within After Sales, leading by example • Assist the team with technical support • Manage major product issues such as campaigns, recalls, safety concerns • Ensure the team are working together to achieve the functions overall objectives • Ensure the processes and systems being used are constantly effective, efficient, and aligned to the strategy • Ensure customers are responded to in a timely manner by phone and email • Proactively see and promote opportunities for selling parts (and service) when dealing with customer issues. What you’ll need to succeed: The After Sales Operations Manager should have experience of managing a team to support customer needs whilst maximising every opportunity for growth. The successful applicant should lead by example and bring the team together with a can do attitude. They should have a desire to resolve technical product issues or process problems, proactively engaging with other functions within the business where necessary. The ideal candidate would have: • 5yrs experience as an After Sales Operations Manager or similar role in Service / automotive/manufacturing industry • Good understanding of manufacturing and parts • Ability to plan, organise, and manage all aspects of an After Market office function • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work under pressure • Ability to lead, coach and develop employees • Ability to drive tasks through to completion • Curious analytical mindset, confident using spreadsheets for control, structure and to aid decision making.
