Overview

You will be an individual contributor reporting to the Head of Application Development Team, with multiple internal and external interfaces outside of R&D: Vortexa customers, sales and revenue operations, industry analysts, other R&D teams and others. Your most important contribution will be to facilitate answering customer questions, see customer tickets through to closure, through reporting bugs, logging product requests, escalating cases in an appropriate way and creating a knowledge base both for external and internal consumption. Our customers are mostly Windows users, with a variety of browsers and Office versions that might require help ranging from whitelisting Vortexa domains on their firewalls to helping find answers to complex analytical questions. Additionally, you will help internal Vortexa users with IT matters, ranging from remote access to their Windows, Mac and Linux-based computers via LogMeIn, SSH and other solutions, to ensuring basic operation of FDE, patching, local firewalls, VPN, as well as enforcement of password and 2FA policies. You are Experienced in providing first-line support in a SaaS business Obsessed about customer happiness and success Enthusiastic about solving technical challenges Sufficiently technical and analytical to be able to troubleshoot technical problems Naturally curious Clear about what it takes to support API-based and Web-based software applications Familiar with ticketing systems like Zendesk A focused and concise written communicator Driven with a “can-do” attitude – “I’ve done my bit” has no place at Vortexa Great if you are.
