Sessional Tutor - Life Skills and Well-Being

We have an exciting role for a Life Skills and Well-Being tutor. Key areas of responsibility: We are looking for an experienced tutor to deliver Life Skills and Well-Being courses such as Confidence Building, Managing Emotions, Managing Relationships, Managing Change. This can include teaching vulnerable adults, in community settings. If you have a similar course idea or subject area please also get in contact as we are always looking to creatively diversify our programme. As one of our tutors, you`ll be so much more than just a teacher. Forming true partnerships with your students, you`ll go the extra mile to build their confidence, develop their knowledge and skills, and empower them to define and achieve their life goals. In short, you will be a catalyst for profound change, and you`ll enjoy considerable autonomy as you prepare course materials, identify and respond to students` needs, and continually assess the effectiveness of your approach. About you: As a qualified, experienced and capable tutor, you may use blended learning techniques to include digital learning through our Canvas platform. You will be keen to engage with people from a range of disadvantaged backgrounds and rekindle their love of learning, and you will share our passion for egalitarianism and empowerment.
