Lecturer in Care

Lecturer in Care Full Time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary: £23,265 - £28,623 per annum Plus Benefits: Defined Benefit Pension, Employee Assistance Programme , Free Car Parking, Subsidised Refectory and onsite Gym We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and committed individual with a passion for teaching and learning to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse range of learners and who uses interactive methods in the classroom. Planning and preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans and the continual assessment of learner work is a significant part of this role. This involves managing the quality of the course through implementation of robust internal verification schedules. Communicating effectively and working as a part of a wider team is a key part of this position. Central to the work you do will be enabling students to aspire beyond their initial intention and reach a potential that equips them to progress into work, higher education or apprenticeships. You will use IT to enhance your working practices as well as learning opportunities for learners. You will can manage your time well and meet deadlines. You will have up-to-date knowledge of the within the childcare and/or early years where previous employment in this sector would be a distinct advantage.
