Salary: £24,527 - £33,872 per annum Appointments will not usually be made above point L10 (£29,203) and progression beyond point L10 is subject to the attainment of certain qualifications Post Ref: 516013 Base: King’s Lynn Hours: 37 hours per week A Golden Handshake of £3,000 is applicable which is payable on joining. You will teach on a range of Engineering courses. The majority of teaching will be with level 3 students and apprentices. The ability to teach a range of engineering subjects at these levels will be highly advantageous. A background in welding is essential and a broad range of engineering skills e.g. machining, fitting, fabrication or maintenance would be beneficial. You must have an HNC qualification in Engineering or equivalent and up-to-date experience in education/training or proven industry experience. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining one at level 5 within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
