Summary: Come be a part of a team of designers passionate about creating the very best product for Facebook's billion users. As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. You will be expected to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills, and you will own the experience for a wide area of the Facebook product. Providing the most reliable and stable set of products to keep 2.7 billion users online is an incredible feat. The Core Systems team in London is looking for a very senior Product Designer that wants to make an impact in a highly technical and challenging domain. You will lead the design of the next generation product to prioritize events and triage incidents to enhance the decision making process that is critical to maintain the reliability of all facebook products worldwide. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our billion+ users 2. Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant 3. Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams 4. Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality 5. Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch (and then some) Minimum Qualifications: 6. Communication skills 7. Demonstrated strategic product thinking and vision 8. Experience in building and shipping applications or software 9. Must have URL or case studies featuring examples of interaction design work 10. Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design 11. Ability to execute on visual and interaction details Preferred Qualifications: 12. Experience designing for groups of people (international audiences, multi-language localisation, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.) 13.
