Facilities Officer -maintenance/ statutory compliance, overseeing contractors, public& commercial buildings Your new company Busy local Authority have a temporary need for a building maintenance/ Facilities management professional. This will be on a hourly paid temporary contract via Agency Your new role To assist in providing a pro-active facilities management service- working on planned and reactive maintenance schedules. To assist in checking all equipment is tested and operated in accordance to guidelines. To assist in supervision of premises security, premises technicians and cleaning team. monitor contractor performance and compliance. With support to invite tenders for soft and hard services. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience in similar role either in the private or public sector. A basic mix of building / FM knowledge is neededYou will be able to work under your own initiative and have fantastic communication skills in dealing with customers.
