We are recruiting an Area Sales / External Sales position for a well-known and respected Tool Hire and Plant Hire - Hire Equipment company company covering the Essex Region. Covering areas such as Thurrock, Grays, Romford, Braintree, Rayleigh, Basildon etc) You will inherit a portfolio of customers but will also looking to carry out a Business Development role looking to bring in £250k of new business per annum. Developing strong working relationships with main and sub contractors, developers, house builders, commercial projects, shop fitters and more. We need to find an extremely driven and proactive sales individual from either the tool hire / plant hire / general hire or construction supplies sector. We are looking for a Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager type who is a true sales professional from the 'tool hire' sector or the construction sales / building supplies / builders merchants sector (however excellent sales professionals from outside the tool hire or construction sector will certainly be considered). It is ALL about the person. Someone with drive, ambition and hunger. A genuine 'can-do attitidude' and someone who will deliver on promise and back up in actions what they say they'll acheive.
