Our subscription service gives underwear and personal care boxes with membership perks and rewards for major brands. Our blog provides content on culture, entertainment, lifestyle, and more. Our podcast delivers content on top travel places, trendy LGBT spots & events, interviews, entertainment, lifestyle tips and more Our purpose and vision We believe in the positive promotion of the LGBTQ community living their best gay life, providing products and services for our community and allies Our mission To provide products and services for the LGBTQ community and our allies Our values We believe in good humour and a good heart, always putting our customers’ experience first. We are looking for advisory board members to support the company make the best strategic decisions, adding value through service based-leadership. They will provide candid, competent, expert advice to shape the day to day operations and overall management. Responsibilities Contribute to the establishment of the company’s strategic direction and the monitoring of any strategic plans Work with key stakeholders to complete the business plan Minimise the risk associated with new ventures by providing insight and expertise Provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view and support the exploration of new ideas Serve as a mentor or coach to the co-founders Respect the confidential nature of all information relating to the company in accordance with data protection and non disclosure policies. Requirements Attend monthly board meetings to evaluate the company’s performance Provide strategic support and insight to co-founders to action operational activities Extensive knowledge, experience and expertise within their speciality across any of the following: Investor pitches and fundraising, Startups, Technology, Telecommunications, Finance and Banking, Strategic Partnerships, Subscription services, Ecommerce, Lifestyle and Membership management and Marketing Good, independent judgement, strategic vision and the ability to think creatively Act with selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, leadership; in adherence to our core values and in the best interest of the company Ability to work effectively as a member of a team Disclose any possible conflicts of interest What's in it for you: 3% equity in the company Complimentary monthly subscription box Access to our rewards and benefits platform Free monthly drink from Cafe Nero Free movie monthly Free mobile phone insurance Free access to online workout and wellness classes Free monthly Netflix credit Yearly renumeration of £6k once we secure funding
