Overview

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. Build and maintain a portfolio of paid introducers that will provide the bank with a steady source of SME, IF and AF switcher opportunities. Proactively manage your portfolio of paid introducers for the acquisition of high value switchers. Maximise the income derived from new switchers in-line with client needs. Develop, facilitate and run local events within your area to raise the profile of SME’s paid broker strategy. Identify new opportunities for the Bank. Work with coverage, product and support partners to efficiently drive and deliver client requirements. Support the Relationship team’s interaction with clients with the provision of sales support materials (e.g. Insight briefings, preparation packs and pitch pack). Become a subject matter expert in your area. Offer detailed knowledge of economic and business activity for key external and internal stakeholders. Develop internal/external relationships at a local level with corporate and retail colleagues and sister companies within Lloyds Banking Group to provide and receive referral leads. Support the Area Director with the development of national/local relationships with specific partner companies to bring in new referral leads. Coach and train Local Business Development Managers to attract new business. Agree new credit facilities as part of the recruitment package. Prepare and submit to an appropriate sanctioning official the requirements of potential new businesses as appropriate. Ensure compliance with Bank in line with conduct risk guidelines and regulatory policy. Recommend action where necessary to limit risk. Your in-depth knowledge of writing credit and the banking industry will allow you to develop, manage and drive business acquisition through a portfolio of paid introducers (brokers). You will maintain relationships with your brokers and compete in the switcher market and deliver annual income, value and volume targets in-line with agreed business plans.
