Overview
Insurance Sales Advisor - Welwyn Garden City - to £25,000 Our client are one of the leading UK insurers, and provide insurance to over 500,000 clients - individuals and businesse - operating out of 1400 local branches nationwide. As an Insurance Consultant you will be a key point of contact within your branch, for both new prospective customers and existing customers. Your role will involve dealing with warm customer enquiries - either face to face or online/over the phone - and using your knowledge of products and services to choose the right plan for the customer. To be successful in the role you will need to: have excellent listening skills and be able to listen to customers and manage their requests effectively. Be highly organised and responsive to your customer's needs. have excellent customer service skills enabling you to build rapport, trust and client loyalty. upsell suitable and relevant new products and services to customers, tailored to their individual circumstances and needs. Be keen to develop professionally and embrace new challenges. From day one you will be in an environment where ideas are welcomed and progression is encouraged, with the opportunity to gain industry leading insurance qualifications, and Cert Cll commencing with 12-18 months of joining. Your working hours are 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and Saturday (every other Saturday on rota) 8.30 to 12.30. There is an ethos of early start/early finish. All the team are paid for Saturdays. We are looking for individuals who possess: Good customer service and sales skills in an upselling environment rather than cold calling. Experience in the insurance sector is essential - candidates with no insurance experience won't be considered. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to build rapport easily a good work ethic with motivation to work hard and progress.
