Private Client Handler

USMAART are currently recruiting for a Private Client Handler based in Dudley, West Midlands. This is an extremely sought after position dealing with high net worth clients and a small specialist team within the business. The business are a specialist car insurer with over 100,000 customers to service across the UK. You will be managing your own portfolio of clients, insuring items that range between £150k- 100 Million. The items will include anything from Cars, Fine Art and Jewellery. The majority of your role will be office based however some travel to clients, roadshows and marketing events will be necessary. Please note a driving licence is not required. Responsibilities- Private Client Handler To provide compliant broking and administrative services to new and existing clients To up-sell and cross-sell on additional insurance products Checking policy documents To handle the invoicing of premiums due, maintaining effective credit control Process correspondence, midterm adjustments, claims, renewals and quotations Understand the client's situation, opportunities and problems Ensure where possible, premiums are settled in accordance with procedure Assist team performance through regular communication with colleagues To maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through personal professional development To ensure all customer complaints are identified and handled strictly To share best practice with colleagues across the wider business Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours Excellent communication skills either face to face or over the phone Experience in a similar role is essential Motor and Household Insurance is essential, particularly Household A natural ability to build rapport with customers and introduce new products and services to them The ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team to achieve key objectives Experience of working towards targets and KPIs Good initiative skills and the ability to make the right decision for the customer Hours and Salary You will be working 9-5:15pm Monday to Friday The salary for the role is up to £25k per annum plus company benefits and bonus (£5k).
