Looking for a graduate to join a busy team as Wayleave/ Land Officer Your new company Your new company has been established since the 19th century as a Property Consultancy, specialising in the rural sector. Building longstanding relationships is at the forefront of the business and a focus on understanding clients needs. They have nationwide however this particular roll will be based in the leafy suburb of Sale, moments walk from the tram stop. The local amenities and friendly attitude of the town will be at your feet, with Manchester city centre only half an hour away Your new role Your new role will be for a Wayleave/Land Officer. This will involve attending team meetings, researching land ownership/locations, liaising with clients and landowners, documenting land before and after work has started and been completed. Submitting insurance claims and disputes. Walking the land and ensuring site standards are met. You will be involved with negotiating with land owners for projects such as refitting the national grid power lines. This role will take you across the country if you desire From Snowdonia to the High Peaks, you will be living your best outdoor life What you'll need to succeed This role is open to graduates of a relevant degree (Geography or Surveying) who have experience in the land sector. The role is also open to people who have experience within the industry and no degree. As the role requires travelling within the North West, a full driving license and access to a car is essential. A positive attitude and love for the outdoors will stand you in good stead here What you'll get in return In return you will receive a competitive industry standard salary of £27000- £33000 DOE, mileage compensation, the ability to progress and grow within the company.
