Develop successful business partnerships across an existing customer base Inform existing clients of new services and products on offer Identify areas for growth and gross profit increase Account Manager Our client, a highly successful well-established south Liverpool based company requires an additional Account Manager due to company growth. Experienced in account management, a good sales all-rounder to engage with & upsell to existing clients via phone. You will be trained in ways to identify opportunities & areas for growth within clients' accounts. Working for this growing company, you will undertake all account management responsibilities, introducing additional revenue streams from existing customers as well as assisting regional Business Development Managers within onboarding new customers to achieve agreed sales and margin targets, ensuring successful trading relationships. The Account Manager Role & Responsibilities The purpose is of this role is to help the company grow by developing new business within existing client accounts. Develop successful business partnerships across an existing customer base whilst maintaining a value-added service to ensure successful trading relationships, increasing revenue and profit. Understanding customer requirements Inform existing clients of new services and products on offer Develop contact cycle in line with KPI's; create and deliver account development plans. Identify areas for growth and gross profit increase Negotiate and retain existing business through processes and secure fixed term agreements. Ensure the achievement of sales and margin targets. Induct and service the requirements for new customers Record all customer information in the CRM system to ensure completeness and accuracy of the customer account Communicate information clearly and concisely both written and verbally Contribute to team sales meetings and training sessions An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone You will be responsible for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual targets whilst maintain high levels of customer service. The Account Manager Skills Demonstrable experience is outbound sales, internal sales or account management Experience of delivering multiple sales of various products, services and values Ability to build trust, respect and rapport quickly, at all levels. Demonstrates an understanding of the aims and objectives of the business and is able to apply this to varied situations. Uses commercial judgment and is able to apply multiple factors when arriving at a decision/recommendation. Demonstrates commitment and motivation to achieve goals Delivering high value, long term contracts. Displays pride and professionalism and a desire to function well in the job Demonstrates capacity to communicate information, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, using appropriate language and channels for the intended audience Demonstrates willingness and ability to take on new tasks, change work methods and processes to adapt to necessary changes in the team or company Complete understanding of the sales and business development process, with strong commercial acumen. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The Account Manager Salary Salary: £18,000 - £26,000 this consists of a basic salary of £16,000 - £22,000 with bonuses of £2,000 - £4,000 per annum. This is depending on experience and suitability for the role. Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays with time off over Christmas and New Year.
