Overview
USAID Consultant 325 London, UK 3 months Our partner is women’s health and empowerment organisation. They are seeking an experienced USAID specialist to lead in the close-out of a USAID grant. Responsibilities Prepare the fund accountability statement, and lead on the computation of the indirect costs recovery. Liaise with the auditors, providing supporting documentation, answering queries, and supporting in reducing audit disallowances. Review audit sample, and supporting documents provided by the country offices, ensuring these meet the USAID compliance requirements. Lead on the close out of prior year indirect costs, and administer return of funds. Undertake historic reconciliations of project codes. Requirements Qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in USAID grant management, requirements, audit and close-out. Familiarity with using SUN systems is highly desirable A passion for the work and values of the organisation There is scope for this role to offer flexible working (including part-time work, and opportunity to work from home).
