Overview
Product Manager - Hip and Knee. Fantastic chance to move from Sales to Product Management Home based national Role. 2-3 days per week in the field. With is HQ in Europe this innovative and well respected company is committed to the development of innovative products and procedures to enable surgeons to select ideal solutions for every individual patient. Their product range includes large joint primary/revision implants and complete extremities solutions including fixation. Their orthopaedic solutions are designed to help orthopaedic surgeons face the challenge of improving their patients’ quality of life •National Role, UK Travel, Work from home with nights away •Salary IRO £45-58k with bonus •Company car (A4 / BMW) or £600 PCM allowance •Excellent package including car corporate benefits. Role - This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales person to move into Product Management / Marketing. The role is a commercial Product Management role. The Global Product Management team is responsible for NPD, design of sales materials and R&D. This regional role exists with the following main functions - •Work closely with the sales team to build strong advocacy networks /KOL links with Hip and Knee Surgeons. Spend time with new sales staff mentoring them in their approach to clinical and sales interactions - help them develop their skill set. •Design, build and deliver engaging and compelling clinical education courses for customers and roll these out with throughout the UK alongside sales and clinical colleagues •Provide accurate forecasting andbudgeting for allocated product lines •Manage high level customer issues / product queries ensuring our client is perceived as the provider of choice in the hip and knee space. This role requires exceptional internal and external stakeholder management and communication skills. It requires an autonomous professional who is very well organised and understands the relationship between sales, clinical and marketing functions and can ensure the three work together to deliver success for their product portfolio. Applicant - •Candidates for this role must understand the anatomy, physiology and bio-mechanics of the orthopaedic Hip and Knee market. This most likely means they are working in Hip and Knee sales or marketing OR have had an early career in a clinical / physiotherapy / Bio-Mechanics environment that afforded them specialist knowledge of the workings of Hip and Knee joints. •Candidates will demonstrate either exceptional Sales or Product Marketing skills •They will be exceptional communicators and able to work at senior KOL level (KEY OPINION LEADER) •They will have a passion for Product Management, Marketing, Teaching, Coaching and Mentoring.
