This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with a recently restructured team and put your stamp on an already well established and highly regarded organisation.The main duties of this role will be:Creating reports and analysis on a monthly basis regarding both the current and forecasted financial position of key budget holdersAssisting the Finance Manager with annual planningPreparing quarterly VAT returnsHandling high volumes of bank reconciliations dailyWorking in conjunction with the AP and AR teams to ensure cash is posted correctlyManaging the preparation and posting of month end journals as well as accruals, generally overseeing the month end processesCompleting control accounts for review by the Finance ManagerThis position will join a small team within a wider finance function, offering the opportunity for personal development as well as salary increases and even more holiday as you progress. This role will suit someone who is a strong analytical thinker and possesses a solid range of knowledge in management accounting.Successful applicants will be:Educated to a good standard, particularly with English and MathsQualified to at least AAT level 4Experienced in working in a similar role (min. 3 years)Proficient in the use of technology, especially ExcelAn excellent communicator, able to converse with colleagues and clients at all levelsIf you're interested in joining a progressive, forward thinking and modern organisation, please do not hesitate to apply below.
