Overview
Senior Engineer £31,058 per annum (plus a Retention Allowance of £3,993pa) (Ref: SUS2891) 37.5 hours per week – based in Bristol This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team, which is working with local communities to design and deliver outstanding cycling and walking infrastructure. Your work will contribute to the creation of healthier, happier towns and cities. By providing best-practice street design from conception to delivery, you will be assisting Sustrans in its vision to allow people to travel in ways that benefit their health and wellbeing. We are looking for a talented HND qualified highways engineer who is passionate about infrastructure design, someone who wants to enhance their existing skills and develop new ones. In the England South design and engineering team you will have freedom to express yourself creatively and challenge yourself daily. We enjoy working together as a team, and value the contribution and expertise of all members. At Sustrans you will be encouraged to produce innovative designs for networks, neighbourhoods and streets. You will be contributing to a variety of public realm and infrastructure projects across the region, building key relationships and collaborating with a variety of clients form the public and the private sector. Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 31 March 2020. Interviews will take place in Bristol on Thursday 16 April 2020.
