Overview
Role- Sales Manager Salary- £40,000- £65,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Type- Permanent Location- West Sussex My client design and manufacture a range of products and they are looking to take on either a Sales Manager, on a permanent basis, in the West Sussex area. The Sales Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Technical / Engineering Sales background and experience working in a similar role is essential to have the transferable skills Good commercial and relationship management skills Have a good eye for detail Be able to project manage at all stages of a bidding process Any Oil & Gas industry experience would be beneficial Be a team player to be able to work well with a range of departments Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad The Sales Manager role will involve: Working as part of the existing UK Sales team Securing profitable sales and also market share across the Globe Taking ownership of the sales process from initial enquiry right through to purchase order Orders are bespoke to timelines can be quite long so you need to be able to manage this Building client relationships Promoting their brand Being involved and understanding all parts of the proposal process Travelling internationally developing and maintaining relationships Developing new market areas Working closely with the Project Management, Estimating and Process teams Leading and also motivating team members Attending Sales meetings as required If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
