Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a Senior Surveyor to join our team based in Telford. The position is a full time, permanent role and in return for joining us and offers a competitive salary of £36,153 – £39,002 per annum. Telford & Wrekin Council is ambitious and commercial with a reputation for innovation. We are the only local authority to have signed a Land Deal with Homes England which is seeing Government investment of £44.5m into site preparation and infrastructure to drive growth. In return the Council has taken responsibility for marketing and disposal of all Homes England residential and employment land. The Council has an ambitious growth programme and through Enterprise Telford – our inward investment organisation – we are currently working with investors developing bespoke investment solutions set to drive out more than 2800 new homes and 8500 new jobs, directly investing £29m into acquiring land and building bespoke premises for investors – delivering in excess of £7m pa from our Property Investment Portfolio. About the role: As our Senior Surveyor you will be responsible for leading on the delivery of a wide range of capital receipts from corporate disposals as well as the disposal of assets under the Telford Land Deal.
