Are you looking for your next challenge? Our client, a busy GP surgery in Bognor Regis, is looking to recruit a skilled and organised Medical Secretary who enjoys working in a busy and challenging environment. This is a part time position for approximately 30 hours per week and will include Mondays. You would need to be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness absence as required. Duties will include the following; • Projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. • Typing letters, reports and associated documentation as required. • Process referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS). • Process requests for information i.e. SAR, insurances/solicitors letters and DVLA forms. • Prompt and efficient filing, record keeping and the distribution of documents. Key experience essential for the role of Medical Secretary - • Experience as a Secretary / PA is essential Previous experience within the NHS and or General Practice would be desirable but is not a deal breaker. You must be able to communicate with staff and patients with a variety of needs and at different levels, have attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
