Overview

This supplier of engine protection and performance design engineering products is specifically looking for someone with a background in sales administration to help develop this thriving business, who will be enthusiastic about processing customers' orders and is interested in exploring new opportunities. Based in Uckfield, East Sussex, this exciting & varied role will see the successful candidate providing Administrative support to the team, processing sales orders, supplier purchase orders and providing excellent Customer Service. Experience or a good understanding of Internal Combustion Engines would be a distinct advantage. Selling to a broad range of clients, products include High Temperature Exhaust Insulation, Fuel Handling Equipment, AdBlue Handling Equipment, Exhaust Spark Arrestors, Air Intake Shutdown Valves, Air Intake Precleaners, Exhaust Catalysts & Soot Filters. Full Training is Provided. Required skills: - Experience of Sage line 50 would be beneficial - Excellent attention to detail and organisation required - Great rapport building skills and happy talking to clients on the phone and by email - Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Dynamics CRM would be beneficial The position would suit a candidate with the following skillsets: - Positive and happy - Industry Experience would be a bonus - Quick to learn and able to multi task. - Embraces change and improvements. - Is organised, able to complete tasks efficiently and prioritise their own workload. - Works well within a diverse team of people and can maintain a high level of professionalism even in an informal working environment. Duties will include, but are not limited to: - Processing sales orders - Processing supplier purchase orders - Entering purchase invoices to Sage line 50 - Issuing invoices to customers and monitoring settlement of these - Scheduling and paying supplier invoices - Dealing with inbound calls as well as making outbound calls - Following up on potential sales enquiries - Resolving delivery issues and liaising with the distribution centre - Maintaining good relationships with customers - General office administrative tasks as part of the team. Status: Permanent - Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00 exc.
