Salary: up to £37,000 per year depending on location and experience Deadline: 17th April 2020 What you will be doing as a qualified Staff Nurse The successful candidate will use their qualifications & professional training to provide clinical support & care to service users with complex & enduring mental health needs. You will ensure service users with care needs receive high-quality care, whilst supporting your colleagues and promoting a collaborative environment. Opportunities in a variety of environments, including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Neurological and Children & Education. Services range from community care homes, rehabilitation centers, and medium secure hospitals. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. Other responsibilities will include: Adopting a systemic, individual approach to all patient care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team - both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date. Ensuring effective communications of any concerns relating to patient care. Deputising in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required. Supporting and supervising new or junior staff. Assisting and supporting regional management in developing and implementing new services. Managing the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of patient care. To be a Staff Nurse, you will have: A relevant nursing qualification. Registered as a RMN, RNLD or RGN (Or international equivalent) NMC registration Strong team-working skills. A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach. A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate. A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice Services operate 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next. Who can apply?
