Overview

My client, based in Stonehouse, is a leading manufacturer within their field and is looking for an Internal Sales Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for supporting the profitable sales development through a mixture of inbound and outbound telesales activities. Previous experience within an outbound and internal telesales/telemarketing environment is essential and experience within an industrial/trade environment is advantageous but not essential. Responsibilities Speaking to potential customers and actively promoting the products and company Supporting structured marketing campaigns, focused on ‘warm’ lead conversion Managing an allocated portfolio of existing accounts and growing their overall sales through cross-selling opportunities “Cold calling” potential customers with a view to profiling the customer and aligning them to the appropriate department Supporting the external sales team by allocating leads appropriately and keeping in touch with progress Maintaining customer databases, ensuring data and information is accurate Providing weekly reports on activities, progress and successes Key Skills Excellent communication and people skills Ability to develop rapport with people Ability to “think on your feet” and react quickly to any obstacles you may face Highly organised Self-motivated Comfortable working with KPIs and targets Good IT and administration skills Hours of work Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Rate of Pay Competitive salary that is dependent on experience performance based bonus My client is looking for someone to start ASAP, however will wait for the right candidate, so if you are interested please contact the office today on , or alternatively, please send an up to date, Word Document copy of your CV to .
