You will be a confident and technically strong employment solicitor who is comfortable advising large corporations in the FTSE 250, as well as public sector clients and third sector organisations. You will be at senior associate/partner level and have the right attributes to not only develop new business but to also maximise opportunities with existing clients. As an integral part of the growth of the business, this role is for someone who is innovative and credible. The work is complex and interesting and you can expect to work on a range of operational assignments, advising on and often participating in complex collective redundancies, collective bargaining, large scale changes to terms and conditions, and TUPE transfers. The work is a mix of contentious and non-contentious as you will also represent clients at employment tribunals.
