Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Executive to join a well established international corporation, offering a range of power protection products and services that sells to a broad spectrum of industries and sectors. This is a permanent role based in Romsey with working hours of Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 with a 1 hour lunch break. The salary is between £22,000 and £25,000 depending on experience and there is a generous commission structure. The main purpose of this role is to maintain and develop an existing customer base and generate new business opportunities within the UK sales department. Main Duties: Maintain and develop existing customers Develop new business generation Customer interface directly and via email/telephone Identify new markets and business opportunities To be conversant in the company product range Prepare product sales material and quotations Promote company products and services to new and existing customers Negotiate and close sales Represent the company at trade events Reviewing own sales performance, to meet and exceed targets To perform any other duties as instructed from time to time by any director of the company or by the sales managers Requirements: Excellent communication skills Excellent organisation skills Self-motivated Good time management Strong written, listening and communication skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook Experience in account management and/or direct sales experience Benefits: Free on site parking Generous commission structure 20 days holiday per annum - this increases by 1 day each year of service to a maximum of 25 days Well established company with room for progression If this sounds like a perfect role for you please apply now or contact Rachael at the Totton office Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
