Overview
Mid-Senior UX Designer Your role To lead and be responsible for facilitating, generating and executing great user experiences for our clients and their end users. We're looking for a seasoned and proven problem-solver, with tons of experience in digital product design to add to the team, to help us deliver the best user experiences in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a client facing role, so we are looking for a person who is happy and comfortable to present to clients at all levels and be the ambassador of design standards and growing UX knowledge. Why we need you Our digital solutions require ownership of the UX lifecycle from ideation, user research to delivery from a passionate UX practitioner who is dedicated to solving problems in a coherent, meaningful and delightful way. We are looking for a Mid - Senior UX Designer who will: Translate new initiatives into user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes Strategise and design new products and features across multiple teams Lead the UX and user research strategy, methodologies and executions in projects Be able to conduct your own user research as well as building and testing prototypes Be competent and comfortable in facilitating UX workshops Help run design sprints and work in an evolving environment Feel equally comfortable sketching and wireframing a design solution as well as presenting to stakeholders and clients. Be an advocate for quality UX standards Collaborative working is key - you will be working with the wider business teams to understand user problems & opportunities, the Accounts Management & Development teams to scope and deliver change. Beneficial to be comfortable switching between the user and technical conversations with developers. Experience of agile working will be beneficial as we work together to evolve our delivery model. Your expertise Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a demonstrable role strong experience designing user-centred products, ideally for mobile and desktop Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain the rationale behind your design concepts Attention-to-detail in everything you do, from storytelling and clarity of communication through to detailed wireframes and artefacts Must be data driven, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative Expertise in standard UX software. We currently use Axure, Sketch and Invision. Wider software knowledge is most welcomed. Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. Significant experience planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and an understanding of accessibility concerns. Ability to work effectively in a team setting including - effectively communicate UX design processes, ideas, and solutions. Experience in designing with design systems/ pattern libraries is an advantage Experience in designing for pharmaceutical / healthcare is an advantage You should apply if: You understand that good design is not about trends but is built on top of principles and trade-offs.
